Which Country Makes the Best Zombie Movies?

I haven't seen many foreign zombie movies, but I watched and reviewed Undead recently, as well as Zombie Diaries, and while the latter was a flaming piece of shit and the former was pretty decent, it reminded me of 28 Days/Weeks Later, and I know the film Zombie is foreign.

Any thoughts on which country has produced the better zombie flicks? Maybe horror movies in general?

I have both of these movies. Undead is amazing, made by the same brothers who created Day Breakers. I haven't seen many Australian zombie films, Undead could be the only one I know of. Back in the 60s the 70s and the 80s there was quite a bit of competition between the Italian and American film makers when it came to horror and zombie movies.

I've spent a lot of time watching these movies, I have Japanese, Chinese, Scottish, English, Australian, Sweedish, Mexican and yadda yadda yadda. To be honest, I think us in the good ol' USofA make the best zombie movies. We just have so many it's hard to compete.

Ugh. Zombie Diaries was horrible. The characters are so stupid. Other than that, I don't know of many zombie movies other than that from the US.

People said it was better than 28 days later? Blatant liars! Compared to 28 days later, this is like eating peed-on dirt rather than food at a 5 star restaurant!
